Filter Magic at TAWWA - McAllen, TX, Feb. 10, 2020

Mark Romers, President of Filter Magic presents at the TAWWA Executive Meeting in McAllen Texas. The Valley, as the area is known, is filled with Filter Magic projects including a brand new one for McAllen that includes two water plants and a total of 15 filters. McAllen anticipates saving substantial water annually from our patented Zero2Waste filter backwash optimization technologies which provide utilities with a new return on investment. Nearby Alice Texas has been using these technologies for the past 8 months and has reduced their high washes from over 10 minutes to less than 2 minutes without loss of production or degradation of filter run times. Alice is a great example of what we can do, and McAllen will be come the flagship of South Texas when it comes online later this year.
